Educational Background

Adam earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida in 1994. During his senior year, he served as a legal intern with the Honorable Chief Judge Ronald Ficarrotta, gaining invaluable experience with the Chief Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit. Before attending law school, Adam worked as a probation officer and was later promoted to court representative for the Misdemeanor Probation Office in Tampa, Florida, where he gained firsthand insight into the criminal justice and probationary systems. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota in 1998, a law school perennially ranked among the Top 20 in the nation. While in law school, Adam focused primarily on criminal law, specifically honing his expertise in criminal defense and tactics.
